As the local football clubs intensify their preparations for the new season, we at the Malta Football Players Association (MFPA) would like to wish good luck to all the players taking part in the domestic football competitions.

We also take the opportunity to emphasise that you, the football players, are at the heart of our mission as the MFPA is committed to protecting your rights while also promoting your best interests.

The statistics speak for themselves – between May and July, 48 claims filed by players – mostly over non-payment of wages – were either won or settled with the full support of the MFPA.
