MFPA is now registered with Kunsill Malti ghall-isport which is the government organisation responsible for sport in Malta. The Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport accepted MFPA's application to register with KMS for the year ending 31st December 2012.

In accordance with Article 2 of the Sports Act 2002 MFPA shall be registered as 'Other Sports' and it's KMS registration Number shall be: KMS/OS 013. Among other obligations the Association is now obliged to:

• Follow the Code of Ethics approved by the Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport.
• Conform with any other directives issued by the KMS in accordance to the Sports Act 2002.
